Ready For some Brows???

About Me

Hi! I’m Nhi (pronounced “knee”). I have been a resident of Hattiesburg for the last 15 years. I've been in the beauty industry for 18 years and I love it. I literally get to make people beautiful for a living!

My favorite service has always been eyebrows. To me, EVERY HAIR COUNTS. Especially if you're like me and have barely any, it really does count. I'm so happy to be able to give clients beautiful natural brows. Whether thicker, darker, or more arched, let's see what I can do for you!

Microblading...

Microblading is a technique that uses a disposable hand tool to deposit pigment into the skin to mimic actual hair. It is a more natural look and not a filled-in brow look. It is done closer to the surface of the skin, so it's not a forever-tattoo and will fade over time, thus considered semi-permanent.

**PLEASE NOTE: Microblading is different than clients who get their brows "tattooed". Tattooed brows go a bit deeper in the skin and are usually done with a machine. For the most natural look, microblading is done on the outer surface of the skin, and therefore will fade quicker than a filled-in "tattoo" look. Thus needing more maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHO CAN GET MICROBLADING?

This is a perfect service for someone with normal skin who has thin or sparse brows, wants to enhance their natural shape, or someone who doesn't regularly fill in their brows.

IS MICROBLADING SAFE?

Yes! All materials used on each client are individually wrapped, disposable, sterile, and for single-use only.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Pigments used for cosmetic procedures are NOT the same as the pigments used for body tattoos, they are semi-permanent and are designed to fade over time-- dependent on many factors including skin type, environment, lifestyle, and aftercare maintenance.

Pigment retention on the skin is unpredictable, just as in the case of medical surgeries, each patient's healing results vary, this is also true with microblading. Those with oily skin type will notice more fading and a blurring compared to those with normal skin.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO COME?

This is a luxury service and maintenance IS required for optimal results. The brows can last up to 2 years BUT that is WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE. Average, about 9-12 months, clients are ready for more color, so a color boost appointment is a great choice at that time.

DOES IT HURT?

The first few minutes hurt because we outline without numbing but the pain is very minimal to mild although everyone's pain sensitivity varies. We use a topical anesthetic therefore pain is minimized.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?

Each initial procedure takes about 2 hours. I want to give you my best work, so please plan accordingly so we do not have to rush.

ARE RESULTS GUARANTEED?

Unfortunately, RESULTS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED. Pigment retention on the skin is unpredictable, just as in the case of medical surgeries, each patient's healing results vary, this is also true with cosmetic tattooing. Some people do not heal properly or reject the pigment and this is not to the fault of the client nor artist. This is why it is so important for you to let me know of any medical conditions or current prescriptions.

I ALREADY HAVE MY BROWS TATTOOED/MICROBLADED. CAN YOU HELP?

POSSIBLY, People who have previously had permanent makeup may want to change or fix what they have previously had done and search for a different artist. Unless the work is very very faded, it is very hard to to incorporate the old shape and color into a new brow for you. If you've had previous work from another artist and wish for something different, please send me a clear photo of your current brows, we'll decide what is best for your current situation.

DO I NEED TO TAKE A DAY OFF OF WORK?

Absolutely not, most clients continue on with their day as usual. Please note however, if you are headed somewhere afterwards, please remember that you will need to avoid any makeup, brushes, or sponges on the brow area immediately after your procedure. So please plan accordingly, bringing a baseball cap is a great way to continue your day.

Do I need a touch up?

Yes! Every new set of brows requires two sessions to achieve the desired results. After only one session, patchiness can be expected.

Should I come in with or without makeup?

Either one is fine. If you do fill in your brows frequently, I would love to see the shape and color you are used to. The brow area will be wiped clean prior to the procedure.

What will my brows look like?

    • Results will vary! Factors that contribute to varying results include skin type, brow bone, pores, amount of brow hair, and thickness of the brow hair. But I will absolutely go by your natural shape.

The Healing Process

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING HEALING

All cosmetic procedures are a 2-step process. A touch-up is usually always needed for a complete look. Brows will hardly be perfect after one session.

Brows will begin to darken in the next few days

and may begin to crack and scab.

Around day 7-10 the color will fade and it may take 4-6 weeks for the true color to resurface. Don’t be alarmed if the color seems to disappear during healing, this is temporary.

Healed results will be lighter than the color immediately after the procedure.

Flaking, dryness, itching, tenderness, swelling, redness are all normal symptoms.
